Step-by-step tutorial

First gently draw your motif with a HB grade pencil, without getting too detailed. Only specify the most Important lines.

Color and model your whale with the different shades of blue in the brush pen set. For the large areas you use the thick brush tip. Draw the details on the belly and fins with the thin tip.

With the thin brush of the darker blue shade you draw some structure to it.

Now you let the colours flow into each other with the help of water and brush and connect them with each other. By using a specific brush, you can direct the wet paint to the right places.

Use the brush to pick up a little paint from the wet areas and give the whale additional swing and expression lines. Let your work dry. Then it is ready for the picture frame!
