Step-by-step tutorial

Print out the templates and shade the back of the printout using a soft pencil, e.g. Noris HB.

Place the template on the terracotta pot and, if necessary, fix the template with a piece of adhesive tape on both sides.

Now use the same pencil to trace your template along the contours. You can simply move the template if you want to paint all around the pot.

Remove the template from the pot and check whether the motif has transferred properly and all pencil lines are clearly visible.

Start with the coloured background of each element. Choose a Lumocolor paint marker. Place the template next to your terracotta pot as a guide. Colour in the leaves. When you’re done, leave the paint on the pots to dry a little.

Now you can use the white Lumocolor paint marker for accents. Here, too, you can use the printed template as a guide.

Your beautifully designed terracotta flowerpot is ready for you to plant your favourite plants in it.
