Baby Shower - door sign

It’s time for your baby shower.
And a jolly baby shower starts with fantastic decorations! What could be better than a home-made door sign to welcome your guests and giving your party its own special flair? This unique decorative door sign will also make a great decoration for the wall of your baby’s room later.

Before you start, carefully cut out the babygrow template. Now transfer the shape onto the coloured card using an HB pencil.

Cut out the babygrow along the lines.

Shade over the back of the “Welcome Baby” lettering using a 6B pencil.

Place the template on the babygrow shaded side down. Use the HB pencil to trace the outlines of the letters, transferring the design.

Use a black pigment liner to colour in the letters for “Welcome”, and coloured pigment liners to complete the letters for “Baby”.

Decorate with a few colourful hearts.

To complete the reverse side, print out the template and transfer it to the babygrow using a pencil as before.

Download template

Go over the words and letters with the black pigment liner. Use the red pigment liner to colour in the hearts.
