Make Your Own Boat

Make Your Own Boat
Medium

With a little creativity, you can make your own boat from things that usually end up in the rubbish. And it will even float.

Preparing the parts

Cut the different parts for your boat out of cardboard boxes and kitchen roll tubes. You can also cover the parts with white paper so you can colour them in them later.

Building your boat

Next, grab a juice or milk carton and cut out one side. Colour the parts you have already prepared with fibre-tip pens and fasten them to the inside of the box using transparent tape. You can make smoke come out of the boat's chimney by adding some cotton wool.

Adding the finishing touches

Lastly, colour the outside of your boat with waterproof colouring pens. All that's missing now is a small colourful flag that you can make from a wooden skewer and some sugar paper. And with that, it's perfect.
