Step-by-step tutorial

First, roll out the pink FIMO with your acrylic roller – a little thicker than you want your flamingo to be in the end.

Then cut out the flamingo shape with your flamingo cookie cutter and remove the excess FIMO.

Now cut off the legs and beak of your flamingo with a knife.

Then roll out the FIMO in the colours blossom and black to a plate of the same thickness and cut off smooth edges with a knife.

Place the black FIMO where the legs should be and a piece of half-black, half-blossom at the beak.

Place the baking paper over the flamingo, smooth it out and roll over it with the acrylic roller. This prevents the dark FIMO from bleeding over onto the lighter one.

Then take your cookie-cutter again and cut out the flamingo. Remove the residues. Now harden the flamingo in your oven for 30 minutes at 110 degrees Celsius.

Tip: Unfinished items and left-over bits of material can be stored in a sealed plastic bag or airtight container, e.g. a plastic box or jar.

After baking, the finished flamingo only needs to be glued to the glass rod. Done!
