Step-by-step tutorial

With the waterproof pigment liner, you draw a motif as an outline sketch. A loose stroke gives your drawing lightness.

Now set the colour of the leaves with different shades of green. Mix also yellow in the light areas and blue and black in the shadow areas.

Now apply the water surface with blue colours. In the reflections of the plants in the water, of course, green is also in the mix.

Fill your water brush with fresh water. By applying a little bit of pressure, the brush will gradually fill up with water. With a well moistened brush tip you can now let the coloured pencil colours flow into each other and basically paint in watercolours.

Start with the green shades of the plants, then continue with the reflections of the water and at the end to the blue of the water surface.

Let your postcard motif dry well and send it to a loved one who deserves some happiness.
