FIMO diamond magnets
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend! These pretty diamonds are not only bigger than the real thing, they're more affordable too.
They’re very easy to make yourself from FIMO, and as well as being useful they‘ll make an eye catching addition toyour notice board or fridge. Creating the diamonds in candy colour gradients gives them a very special charm, but they also look great made in one single colour.

Take a block each of FIMO effect mint and FIMO soft raspberry, roll each one into a ball and shape into a triangle. To create the colour gradient, place the triangles next to each other to form a rectangle.
Fold the resulting long sheet in half once, making sure the same colours are on top of each other.
Then keep passing it through the clay machine, folding the same colours on top of each other and then rolling again until you achieve your desired colour gradient.
Then fold the sheet with the colour gradient in two, to give your magnet a sturdier profile when it’s finished.
Place it on the baking paper and cut into a diamond shape using the cutter.
Smooth the edges a little and use the modelling tool to add details and go over the lines.
Harden your diamond on the baking paper in the oven at 110°C / 230°F for 30 minutes and allow to cool.
Finally, attach the magnet to the reverse of your diamond using the hot glue and your diamond magnet is done.
Tip: Work in progress and left-over material should be protected against sun and heat and can be stored in a screw-top jar or in cling film to protect it from dust and dirt.
