This is how easy it is to use the mica shift technique:
Step 1:
Roll out an even FIMO sheet in the colour of your choice.
Step 2:
Press the shape or structure into the surface of the FIMO sheet.
Step 3:
Use a sharp blade to remove the unevenness to create a smooth surface.
Step 4:
Smooth the surface by carefully rolling with the acrylic roller.
The structure is retained as the mica particles are pressed downwards. These can no longer change their direction and create the desired 3D effect.
