FIMO kids - Funny Beetles

Easy

Cut off 4 portions from a block of Glitter Red FIMO kids clay. Roll it into a ball for the body.

Shape 1½ portions of Black into a ball for the head.

Press the head onto the body, keeping both pieces rounded and even.

Divide a ¼ portion into 2 pieces then shape into 2cm antennae. Make 2 holes in the head with the end of a small brush. Press the antennae into the holes.

Shape a small nose and press it onto the head. Use a cocktail stick to make holes for eyes. Use a piece of drinking straw cut in half to make a mouth.

Roll tiny pieces of FIMO into balls for the spots. Flatten them slightly then press onto the body. Make 9 spots.

Harden FIMO in a pre-heated oven at 110° C / 230° F for 30 minutes. Cool before handling.
