Daisies are versatile, whether they are used for wreaths on your head or artwork in your living room. Their beautiful white flowers and bright yellow centres always catch the eye. This stylised art work will put you in the mood for summer. Create your own unique daisy meadow with acrylic paint and great metallic effects.

First, create the daisy petals in white acrylic paint using a flat brush. Make sure you leave space in the middle of the flower for the centre.

Using a fine brush and a little water, paint thin yellow lines on the painted petals. This will give the flower a more interesting look.

Now fill in the space in the middle with little dots of orange and yellow. Use acrylic paint and a fine brush for this, too. This will create a beautiful centre for your daisy.

Finally, decorate your picture with a silver metallic marker, adding little dots around the daisy. You can also use a brush and white paint diluted with water to add some little splatters to the background. And your artwork is finished!
