FIMO effect Neon – bright terrazzo style earrings

Neon is back! From bright green to shocking pink, neon colours are always part of the hottest fashion trends.
Create your own hip, terrazzo style earrings using FIMO effect neon. Combined with a stylish black outfit, they’ll add just the right flamboyant chic to your daily routine.

Roll out half a block of FIMO soft black into a sheet using the acrylic roller.
Then cut one portion of each of the FIMO effect neon colours and the FIMO soft white and divide them into lots of little scraps/confetti.

Next place lots of confetti pieces in an uneven pattern on the black FIMO sheet. It looks especially good if the colours overlap.

Now place a piece of baking paper over the FIMO sheet and confetti and roll over it with the acrylic roller, applying gentle pressure to bind the colourful confetti to the black FIMO. If you think the sheet needs a bit more colour, repeat steps 2 and 3.

Next place the sheet on baking paper and cut out the earring templates.
Tip: Work in progress and left-over material should be protected against sun and heat and can be stored in a screw-top jar or in cling film to protect it from dust and dirt.

Roll out one portion of FIMO effect neon yellow into a sheet using the acrylic roller. Then cut out two circles using a small round cutter. Pierce a hole at the bottom edge of yellow circles and the upper edge of the terrazzo pendants using a bead piercing needle or a toothpic.
Now lay all the FIMO pieces on baking paper and harden in the oven for 30 minutes at 110° C / 230° F on upper and lower heat.

Leave everything to cool completely and fasten the yellow circle to the terrazzo pendant using a jump ring.
Fix an earring to the back of the finished circle using superglue and your neon earrings are done.
