Giving homemade jam as a gift? We’ll show you how to decorate your jam jars beautifully and make each one a real eye-catcher. Use old t-shirts for the fabric covers and give them a new life.

First draw a circle on the fabric using a cereal bowl or similar. Then cut it out with the fabric scissors.
Design tip: If you want, use a sewing machine to quilt the edges to create a narrow edge.

Print out the motif template and place it centrally under the fabric circle. Trace the template with the double-ended fabric pens in the desired colours. Now create different fabric covers in this way. Whether lettering, colourful fruit motifs or both – there are no limits to creativity.

Attach the fabric circle to the jam jar lid with an elastic band and tie a beautiful, matching fabric band around it.
