Step-by-step tutorial

Roll out a block of FIMO soft in the colour lemon with an acrylic roller to form a thin sheet. Cut out circles or ovals of different shapes and sizes with a blade.

Now roll out a block of FIMO soft in peppermint colour into a thin sheet with the acrylic roller. It should be slightly thicker than the yellow sheet. Place it on a piece of baking paper and spread out your yellow circles on the blue sheet. Roll out with an acrylic roller, gently applying pressure. Use a needle to score a grid structure in your pineapple.

Cut half a bar of FIMO soft in the colour tangerine. Roll some very fine strands and use them to fill the indentations in your grid structure in the pineapple.

Cut off a bar of FIMO soft in both tropical green and emerald and cut them into several small pieces with a blade. Mix the pieces in the two colours and knead into a ball. Make sure that the colours do not mix together completely, and that a marble effect is maintained. Now roll the ball out into a thin sheet with the acrylic roller and cut out the leaves with a blade.

Place the leaves above the pineapple using a needle.

Once you are happy with your design, place a piece of baking paper over it, smooth it out a little and roll the acrylic roller over it, gently applying pressure, so that all the elements connect properly and create an even FIMO sheet.

Now draw small indentations with a needle at the points where the orange stripes are. Repeat for the green leaves.

Cut out the earring shapes with a large round cookie cutter. You can cut out the middle of your circle again using a smaller round cookie cutter. Then you’ll get ring-shaped earrings. Cut out more shapes with an oval-shaped cookie cutter.

Cut one oval in the middle. Add a small dash of FIMO liquid to a spot on your FIMO earring circle. Stick on one oval half so that it protrudes slightly over the edge. The earring stud will be placed on the backside later.

Once you have put together your pineapple earrings, lay the FIMO earrings flat on the baking paper and harden them for 30 minutes at 110°C/230°F in the preheated oven with top/bottom heat.

Leave the earrings to cool properly. Then stick the earring stud to the back with a drop of super glue. Now your summery and bright pineapple design earrings are done!
