Step-by-step tutorial

You need different FIMO soft colours for these pretty floral earrings. You are welcome to put together your favourite colours or use the following FIMO trend colours as shown here: mango caramel, pink grapefruit, morning breeze, pistachio nut, blueberry shake, stormy grey.

Cut two FIMO soft strips in stormy grey and knead them gently with your hands. Cut off half a strip of the remaining FIMO colours and knead them again one by one with your hands.

Now roll out the FIMO clay into a thin sheet using the acrylic roller or a clay machine. Then place the FIMO sheets on baking paper or a small, ovenproof tile.

Cut several small confetti pieces from the pistachio nut FIMO sheet and place them on the large FIMO sheet. Roll the acrylic roller with gentle pressure over the FIMO sheet until the green confetti is fused with the grey FIMO sheet. This will be the back of your earrings.

Turn over your stormy grey FIMO sheet. Cut a little FIMO in pistachio nut and roll a very thin strand. Place small pieces from the strand on the FIMO sheet. These are the flower stems.

Now cut out small circles from the FIMO sheets of your other colours with the mini cookie cutters. Place them on the FIMO sheet using a beading needle on the right and left of the relevant flower stem. These will be the flowers and berries.

Now cut out oblong flower petals from the pistachio nut FIMO sheet with the blade. Also place them on the FIMO sheet on the flower stems.

Once you are satisfied with your motif, you can use the bead marker to add a few visual highlights. Punch small dots into the berries or draw lines into the leaves, for example. This makes the look even more exciting.

Now use the cutters of your choice to cut out the basic shapes of your earrings. This will be the lower part of your earrings.

Roll out two colours of your choice for the top part of your earrings again using the acrylic roller or a clay machine to make a 0.5 mm thick sheet.

Draw a few lines into your rolled out FIMO sheets with the beading needle.

Now cut out the upper part of your earrings with a slightly smaller cutter of your choice, e.g. in a hexagonal shape.

To be able to fix the earrings well later on, all you have to do is drill a few holes. Use the beading needle to drill a small hole in the centre of the lower part of your earrings at the top. There must be space for two, slightly larger holes in the upper parts of your earrings. Feel free to use the modelling tool with ball tips for this.

Now harden your earrings flat in the oven for 30 minutes at 110°C / 230°F top and bottom heat. Let everything cool down well. Then use a pair of tongs and a jump ring to join your jewellery. Finally, attach the ear hooks to the upper part.

Your beautiful floral earrings are ready to go!
