2. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right, at any time:

If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data, or about the assertion of your data subject rights, please contact the responsible body listed under Section 1. The same applies if you wish to withdraw your consent.

3. General information on data processing

3.1 Recipients of data/categories of recipients

Within our company, we ensure that only those persons who need your data to fulfil contractual and legal obligations receive it.
In addition, our specialist departments are supported by external service providers in fulfilling their tasks. The necessary data protection contract has been concluded with all service providers (e.g. IT service providers) who process personal data on our behalf.

3.2 Transfer to third parties and transfer to third countries

We will only pass on your data to third parties within the scope of the legal provisions or with the corresponding consent. Otherwise, data will not be passed on to third parties, unless we are obliged to do so due to mandatory legal provisions (transfer to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement authorities).
Data will only be transferred to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) if this is required, prescribed or if you have given us your consent to do so.
We do not (currently) transfer your personal data to any service providers or to group companies outside the European Economic Area.

3.3 Security of the transfer of your data

In the case of data communication in open networks, such as the Internet, the protection of the transferred data cannot be fully guaranteed according to the current state of the art and cannot be completely protected against access by third parties. Therefore, do not send us any confidential data over the Internet (e.g. by e-mail) without sufficient protection. All forms on our website that collect personal data are encrypted according to the current security protocol, currently TSL 1.2. It is possible to use alternative communication channels (e.g. by post).

3.4 Obligation to provide personal data

There is no legal obligation to provide the data. In isolated cases, the provision of data may be necessary for the provision of our services (e.g. the provision of a contact address when using the contact form). If no provision is made in these cases, our service may only be possible to a limited extent.

3.5 Data storage period

We store your data for as long as it is required for the respective processing purpose. Please note that numerous retention periods require that data is still stored (must still be stored). This applies in particular to retention obligations under commercial law or tax law (e.g. German Commercial Code, German Fiscal Code, etc.). If there are no further retention obligations, the data is routinely deleted after the purpose has been achieved.

In addition, we may retain data if you have given us your permission to do so or if there are legal disputes and we use evidence within the statutory limitation periods, which can be up to thirty years; the regular limitation period is three years.

3.6 Automated individual decision-making

We do not use purely automated processing procedures to bring about a decision.
