FIMO Christmas postcards

Surprise your loved ones this Christmas with a hand-crafted card.
Simply cut out the shape you like best and decorate it however you like with FIMO modelling clay.

Take half a block of FIMO soft in Christmas red and roll it into a ball.
Then use the acrylic roller to create a flat surface. Place the pattern on the sheet of FIMO and cut around the outside with the FIMO blade.
Use your finger to smooth over the edges and round them off a little. Repeat the procedure for the frame with the FIMO effect in metallic gold.

It‘s easier to cut out round shapes with the flexible blade.
The serrated blade will give you a wonderful zigzag effect if you use it to cut through the Christmas bauble.

It‘s really easy to add effective textures to FIMO using a coarse household sponge.
All you need to do to emboss the pattern in the soft modelling clay is to dab the dry sponge carefully onto the FIMO.

Harden your FIMO decoration for 30 minutes at 110°C/230°F. Allow to cool and remove from the tray using a modelling stick or rigid blade. Glue your decorative ball ball and the frame.
We recommend you use the modelling stick to help avoid distorting or damaging any of the pieces.
