World Mental Health Day
STAEDTLER UK works together with The Prince’s Trust and
Fearne Cotton for World Mental Health Day
As a part of The Great Create initiative, this World Mental Health Day we worked alongside The Prince’s Trust and their Goodwill Ambassador Fearne Cotton to continue raising awareness around the importance of young people’s wellbeing. Together we hosted an exclusive virtual doodling session where a number of young people who are supported by The Prince’s Trust had the opportunity to doodle alongside Fearne and talk about their mental health journey. Everyone involved received a special STAEDTLER triplus gift box with everything they needed to get creative!
The Great Create is a fundraising initiative that brings people together to get creative whilst raising money to support young people’s wellbeing which is running in partnership with Happy Place, founded by presenter, author and Prince’s Trust’s Goodwill Ambassador for Wellbeing, Fearne Cotton.
Throughout 2020, the Great Create has been encouraging people around the UK to get creative with friends, family and colleagues online as a way of establishing conversations around mental health and improving wellbeing.
We provided all of the young people taking part in the virtual doodling session with products from our range of high quality stationery including pencils, erasers, sharpeners and sets of our colourful triplus fineliners and triplus fibre-tip pens. The whole group had a great time doodling, colouring and sharing their experiences.
We were thrilled to take part in this event to show our support for World Mental Health Day and to help highlight the benefits of art and creativity in mental wellbeing.
