Gift Tag Earrings made out with FIMO soft with Emma
Christmas is just around the corner! For our last FIMO live workshop this year we have saved a very special project for you! In our FIMO live workshop Jewellery Designer Emma will create these stunningly beautiful Gift Tag Earrings with FIMO soft. Next to the slab technique, Emma will tell you her secret FIMO colour mixing recipe for the perfect mistletoe green and berry red.

Material list for the FIMO live workshop Gift Tag Earrings
Required FIMO colours
- 1 block FIMO soft brilliant blue (8020-33)
- 1 block FIMO soft lemon yellow (8020-10)
- 1 block FIMO soft indian red (8020-24)
- 1 block FIMO soft white (8020-0)
You will also need:
- a small glass plate, cutting board or ceramic tile for rolling out the FIMO
- a rolling pin for clay (alternatively, you can also use a glass bottle)
- various size circles 1.5cm, 1cm, 7mm for cutting out (you can also use rings, thimbles or even cookie cutters)
- 2 jump rings
- 2 fish hooks
- a tag template
Items you'll probably have at home:
- a baking sheet
- an oven
- an x-acto knife or tissue blade
- a sharp stick to make holes

Jewellery Designer
Coming from a fashion design background Emma loves being creative and having endless possibilities with FIMO. She designed her first jewellery collection with FIMO around two years ago and improved her skills through a lot of practice, videos and research. Her favorite techniques are creating Terrazzo looks with already baked clay or experimenting with adding black sand to create a granite effect. She’s getting inspired not only from Pinterest but also from combining ideas of other forms of art such as sculpture, painting, and architecture with FIMO. To share her love for clay and create a community she started ‘Polymer Clay Loves’. Her absolute must-have recommendation for all the FIMO creators is an oven thermometer to ensure you’re baking at the correct temperature.
