Step-by-step guide

Portioning

Unpack the FIMO blocks and use the knife to cut off one section of each of the FIMO effect neon blocks. You only need half a section of FIMO soft black.

Shapes

You need 6 different geometric shapes in different colours and with different patterns for the different earrings. You need two copies of each shape. In this example, I have made two half-globes in neon yellow and cut out two pointed triangles from neon orange FIMO effect. For the dangle earrings, you need two circles with a check pattern and two diamonds with small black squares. The dangle earrings consist of two semi-circles in neon pink and two pointed triangles with an arch pattern.

First roll out the FIMO and create the small black details. Roll the created pattern until it is flat and then cut out the different shapes.

Holes

Punch holes in your shapes with the beading needle so that you can join the individual parts together later to create a earring.

Hardening

Put all the parts on baking paper and harden the FIMO in the oven for 30 minutes at 110ºC.

Sanding

Once your bright pieces have cooled down, you can smooth down the edges.

Assembly

Now join the individual parts together. Fasten the half-globes together with the small orange triangles and then attach them to the ear studs with super glue. The other two ear studs are attached to the chequered circles. Use the split rings to hang the pink diamonds onto the circles. Now we just need to create the dangle earrings. Open the small eyelets with a pair of pliers and hang the half-globes, then add the triangles with arch pattern with two split rings.

Packaging

Once the super glue is completely dry, you can put your earrings in pairs on small cardboard moulds so that they always stay together and you can also give them to someone as a present.
