Step-by-step tutorial

For this pin you need a block of FIMO soft in the colours white, black, dolphin grey, sahara, sunflower, cherry red and metallic gold.

Roll out one portion of each colour to make a sheet. This is best done with the acrylic roller or the clay machine. The sheets should be equally thin, about 4mm.

Work on baking paper from now on. Place the template on the black FIMO soft sheet.

Cut it out with a knife. Now trace all the lines on your template with gentle pressure using a needle. This will transfer the pattern.

Now place the pattern on the beige FIMO sheet and cut out only the front part of the pencil.

Tip: Work in progress and left-over material should be protected against sun and heat and can be stored in a screw-top jar or in cling film to protect it from dust and dirt.

Place the cut out beige tip on the black underground sheet at the tip. Repeat these steps with all the colours until your pen base sheet is completely decorated.

Place baking paper over it and gently move your hands over the brooch so that all the FIMO pieces join together well and there are no gaps.

Now place the template on your FIMO effect metallic gold sheet and trace the outline of the letters „NORIS“ with a needle.

Take a sharp knife and cut out the letters one by one.

Place the letters on the brooch with the help of a needle and press them carefully.

Now harden the brooch lying flat on baking paper in the oven for 30 minutes at 110 ° C / 230 ° F top/bottom heat. Let it cool down well afterwards.

Take the Lumocolor permanent marker and draw the edge and all other details on your brooch.

Glue the safety pin to the back of the brooch with super glue.

That‘s it!
