The ballpoint pen is a very popular choice of writing instrument for school, work and everyday life. It is used for so many different applications. A pen often becomes a constant companion, one we don’t want to part with. This can easily be prevented by simply replacing empty ballpoint refills with new ones. Find the right refills for your favourite pen in the STAEDTLER range.
What to do when your ballpoint pen runs out
The ballpoint pen is a true all-rounder: you will find one in almost every home, on every desk and probably carry one in your bag. Ballpoint ink consists of a mixture of fats and oils. The main advantage of this writing instrument is that, by virtue of its ink formula, it cannot dry out. Nevertheless, it will run out of ink at some point. How long you will be able to write with your ballpoint pen depends on whether it uses a metal or plastic refill.
