FIMO leather-effect Alice band

Flower magic with FIMO leather-effect: Make your hair the centre of attention by creating your very own, unique Alice band with FIMO leather-effect flower petals. This is also a great upcycling idea, because it allows you to give your old Alice bands a whole new look.
To create a lovely purple shade, mix together 4 portions of FIMO leather-effect in berry and 2 portions of FIMO leather-effect in indigo. Knead the colours together with your hands until you create a consistent purple colour.
Now turn it into a sheet using the clay machine on setting 8. Start at the thickest setting (setting 1) and roll the plate thinner step by step.
Tip: The leather effect stands out even better if you move the FIMO sheet gently by hand after rolling it out, pulling it apart a bit.
Roll out a block of FIMO leather‑effect in ivory into a sheet (clay machine setting 8).
Start also here with the thickest setting of the clay machine and roll the sheet thinner and thinner.
Now lay all the FIMO leather-effect sheets flat on the baking paper and harden in the oven for 30 minutes at 130 °C / 266° F on upper and lower heat.
Now punch out flowers in different shapes and sizes from the FIMO leather-effect sheets using the hole punches.
Tip: Work in progress and left-over material should be protected against sun and heat and can be stored in a screw-top jar or in cling film to protect it from dust and dirt.
Now attach the flowers to the Alice band with superglue. It also looks pretty if you stick a bead in the centre of the flowers. Or you can arrange the beads prettily between the flowers.
