This perfect accessory for your beer stein will get you into the swing of the party.
A beer stein marker, styled to match your traditional dress of course, is the perfect choice to help you relax and enjoy yourself at festivals all over the world. This cute beer stein marker made from FIMO leather‑effect will make sure that everyone knows whose stein is whose. Their customised styling will ensure that no-one gets mixed up and everyone can relax and have a good time.
Roll out one block of FIMO leather-effect in dove grey into a thin sheet using the acrylic roller. Take a bead piercing needle and pierce two holes 1 cm apart, to allow you to attach the elastic cord later.
Tip: The leather-effect stands out even better if you move the FIMO sheet gently by hand after rolling it out, pulling it apart a bit.
Then harden the FIMO leather‑effect sheet on the baking paper in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 130 °C / 266° F on upper and lower heat.
Leave to cool.
Once the sheet has cooled completely, cut the heart template out of paper. Place it on the FIMO leather‑effect sheet and transfer the shape twice using a Lumocolor non-permanent.
Position one of the hearts so that the two holes are in the middle of it - this is where the elastic cord will be attached later.
Now cut the two hearts out of the FIMO leather‑effect sheet using the scissors. If you can still see any pen marks, simply remove them with a baby wipe.
Tip: Work in progress and left-over material should be protected against sun and heat and can be stored in a screw-top jar or in cling film to protect it from dust and dirt.
Thread the elastic cord through the two holes in one of the hearts, creating a loop. Knot each end at the front and stick it with some superglue.
Decorate the second heart with acrylic wax beads in colours of your choice, sticking them with superglue.
Cut a heart out of a scrap of lace and use superglue to stick it to the back of the decorated heart.
